Patrick Morgan is the Creative Director for Patrick Morgan Associates. He is responsible for directing all commercial projects from concept to final artwork. Patrick started his career as a freelance designer after gaining a Degree in Graphics and Illustration with Commendations for Print Making at Kingston University (London) in 1998.
He currently works in London and New York and enjoys pushing the boundaries of print and illustration. After founding Patrick Morgan Associates, he has worked with an exhibition company advising new iniatives in Eastern European countries including Moscow, Kiev and St.Petersburg. During his time there, Patrick managed the re-branding of the company.
Patrick¹s work has been short-listed and received commendations for a number of awards, including the Marketing Week Design Award for Corporate Design and Illustration, and the Design and Art Direction Award for Corporate Design and Illustration. Both of these are a result of his work on the Selfridges Annual Report 2003. Patrick's recent contract wins include Gordon¹s Gin, Three Mobile (Hutchinson), The National Library while he is currently working with Universal studios in Hollywood on a graphic Novel. Previous clients include The Body Shop, Levi¹s, Virgin, Timeout, BBC, Channel 4, The Guardian, Nokia, Siemens and Impulse. Morgan will be expressing his illustrative skills in a live show in Osaka, Japan, working on a window display; 'Art meets the window'. Other work includes consultancy at Hewlett Packard in Barcelona in the development of the HP 130 Large Format Printer.
Alongside all of this he teaches fashion illustration in one of the most prestigious fashion universities in Milan, Istituto Marangoni, passing on his knowledge to up and coming graduates.
